STEVENS POINT, WI (WSAU) The Stevens Point American Legion baseball team went to 2-0 in the Ed Kardach Memorial Firecracker Classic with a 6-1 win over Wausau on Friday night at Bukolt Park.

Jake Tepp hit a three run homer in the fifth inning that broke open a 3-1 game. Nick Yenter outdueled Logan Taylor for the win.

Post 10 drops to 0-2 in the tournament and will face Manchester Missouri and Beaver Dam at noon and 2:30 today. Stevens Point will face Oshkosh at 5 and Manchester at 7:30
