The Vampire Diaries star Ian Somerhalder has a hit show, a gorgeous girlfriend (Nina Dobrev) and 2.25 million Twitter followers.

But the actor is in awe of another star, Justin Bieber.

Somerhalder tweeted on Saturday: ""Holy sh!#!My buddy @justinbieber has almost 24million people following him.Nice one little brother.Be good to them man...""

Just for the record, Somerhalder tops his Vampire Diaries co-star Paul Wesley on Twitter (1.17 million followers). But his girlfriend and co-star Dobrev edges him out a little with the followers with 2.35 million.
