KRONENWETTER, Wis. (WSAU) – Names have been released in a fatal Kronenwetter crash that killed one woman and injured another last week.

The police department says 64-year-old Nancy Olson of Weston died at the scene after she failed to yield at a stop sign on Highway X and was hit by a pickup truck. Her passenger, 69-year-old Marlene Mead of Weston, was taken to the hospital with injuries. Her condition has not been released.

The pickup truck driver, 23-year-old Cale Charneski of Kronenwetter, was not hurt.

Police say speed was not a factor in the crash, but that failure to yield led to the accident. The State Patrol is helping reconstruct the accident.
