WAUSAU, Wis (WSAU) Today is opening day for Wausau's city pools. The Kaiser Pool near Thom Field, the Schulenburg Pool behind Thomas Jefferson School and Memorial Pool inside Memorial Park in the Sturgeon Eddy neighborhood will all open at 1pm this afternoon. They're open until 8.

It costs $1 to swim, and 50-cents from 6pm until close.

The pools will be free this summer on Wednesday nights after 6 o'clock.
