Jimi Hendrix's estate can pass on participating all it wants to, but the biopic about the late guitar god is moving forward as evidenced by Andre 3000 being photographed on the set of the upcoming movie in full-on Hendrix mode.
The Outkast rapper-turned-actor was spotted outside his trailer in Dublin, Ireland, where All Is by My Side is being shot, getting into character, with his hair clearly made to resemble the puffy, unkempt 'do that Hendrix famously sported.
The project, which will reportedly focus on the iconic Hendrix's rise to stardom in the late 1960s before his 1970 death, will be written and directed by John Ridley (Three Kings). Hayley Atwell (Captain America: The First Avenger) and Imogen Poots (28 Weeks Later) have also signed up for the film. Have a look at Andre's transformation below.
