WAUSAU, Wis. (WSAU) – This has been the warmest spring on record in Wausau and the second warmest in Rhinelander.
The National Weather Service says the average temperature in Wausau this spring – from March through May – was 50.6 degrees. In Rhinelander, the average temp has been 47.1 degrees.
Wausau recorded a new high last month, when it hit 88 degrees on May 19th.
Looking ahead to June, the average high is nearly 77 degrees and the average low is 54 degrees. June also tends to be a wetter month than May. On average, we get just over 4 inches of precipitation.
