BELLE PLAINE, Wis. (WSAU) - Shawano County officials say a man is dead after a fatal trailer fire early Saturday morning.

Deputies received a call around 3:15 that a trailer was on fire in the town of Belle Plaine. After the fire was put out, officials discovered the body of a 45 year old man inside. Officials did take the man to the hospital, but he was pronounced dead on arrival.

The fire is still under investigation. A detective handling the case was not available for comment this morning.
