LA CROSSE, WI (WTAQ) - Wisconsin’s heat wave is officially being blamed for three deaths and is suspected in a fourth.
The National Weather Service has extended a heat warning for parts of the state into Saturday.
It was supposed to expire Friday, but several days of high temperatures in the triple digits are expected to last at least one more today.
Heat-related deaths have been noted in La Crosse, Lone Rock and Janesville. The death of a 91 year old man in Onalaska is also thought to possibly be caused by the heat.
