Whitney Houston may be gone from this Earth, but she still has one more recording left to share. Before her tragic death in February, the legendary singer collaborated with Sparkle co-star Jordin Sparks to create a song for the soundtrack to the upcoming film. And now that track has finally been released, giving fans one more chance to enjoy a brand new Houston tune one last time.
Though the main part of the music video was shot after Houston's death, the late singer is still showcased as footage of Sparkle is spliced throughout the clip, making it appear to be almost like a tribute to Houston more than anything a promotion for the film. ""Celebrate"" produced by R. Kelly is just the first of two singles off the Sparkle soundtrack. The other will be Houston's equally powerful gospel number, "His Eye is on the Sparrow.""
