MADISON, Wis. (WSAU) - The Wisconsin men’s hockey team used a late-game goal by Joseph LaBate to win for the seventh time in the last 10 games Saturday.
The Badgers edged Alaska-Anchorage 3-2, sweeping the Seawolves. Tyler Barnes and Derek Lee had Wisconsin’s other scores. Justin Schultz and Mark Zengerle had two assists each as the Badgers improved their record to 12-10-2, including 7-9-2 in WCHA competiton. Joe Rumpel made 25 stops in goal.
