MILWAUKEE (WTAQ) - A new poll shows that Wisconsinites are split on whether Governor Scott Walker's doing a good job.
The Marquette Law School surveyed 716 registered voters late last week.
47 percent said they approved of the Republican Walker's job performance, while 47 percent disapproved. Meanwhile, the percentage of those having a favorable opinion of Walker dropped from 50 percent a month ago to 46 percent now.
61 percent of those surveyed said they were attuned to politics most of the time. But even so, 47-percent said they could not form an opinion about Democrat Kathleen Falk -- who's making the most noise as a candidate in the possible recall election against Walker.
68 percent said they didn't know what to think of the other Democrat in the race, Alma Senator Kathleen Vinehout. 40 percent weren't sure what to think about possible candidate Tom Barrett, who lost the 2010 gubernatorial election to Walker.
72 percent in the Marquette poll said they've heard of the John Doe investigation into Walker's former Milwaukee County aides. Of those, 52 percent said it was serious, while 40 percent said it was "just more politics."
