HAYWARD, WI (WSAU) -  A Hayward man is dead after his snowmobile plunged through thin ice into the Chippewa Flowage on Christmas Eve Day. 55-year-old Steven Sisko was reported missing at 5:00 a.m. that day. A helicopter search team located his body in a hole in the ice later that morning. The Hayward Fire Department used an airboat to recover his body. Sisko was the owner of Pine Point Resort about 13 miles southeast of Hayward.
