GREEN BAY, WI (WSAU) The Packers are focused on beating the Tennessee Titans on Sunday – but they’re also focused on beating the elements.
First-year players from the South are getting their biggest challenge from Mother Nature today, as 10-to-15 inches of snow are predicted for the Green Bay area. The Packers have a large indoor practice facility. That’s no problem – but getting there could be.
Coach Mike McCarthy said he mentioned the forecast in his team meeting yesterday. He said some players are going through a big snowstorm for the first time, and they’ll him quote, “Don’t worry, I have a truck.” McCarthy tells them they’ll need more than a truck – and they’ll also need a lot of gas for the snow-blower.
