Taylor Swift 's Red is second only to Adele 's 21 when it comes to 2012's bestselling albums. According to Yahoo! Music , Taylor's latest project has sold nearly 2.4 million copies since it came out October 22. Taylor has had an album in the year-end top 10 albums tally every year since her self-titled debut project landed at #9 in 2007.

Elsewhere on the top 10 list, Carrie Underwood comes in at #6 with 1,067,000 copies sold of Blown Away this year. Lionel Richie 's Tuskegee moved 1,057,000 copies, and Luke Bryan sold 992,000 copies of tailgates & tanlines for a #8 year-end spot.

Of course, these numbers will go up as the holiday shopping season continues.
