RHINELANDER, WI (WXPR) - Another defendant convicted in a gang-related stabbing in Forest county last February will be doing to prison.
18 year old Preston Krusensterna of Crandon was sentenced in Forest County Circuit Court to 7 years in prison, 8 years of extended supervision and three years of probation by Judge Leon Stenz. Krusenstera and five other defendants were charged following a melee in a Mole Lake home where a Wausau man and a pregnant female companion were attacked. The man escaped out a window after being stabbed and the woman escaped out a door.
Krusensterna had pled guilty to party to attempted second degree homicide and false imprisonment. Trials are set for next year for the remaining defendants.
