MADISON, WI (WSAU) - If you bought an electronic device with a flat panel LCD display, you might have money coming, but a deadline is quickly approaching.
Ten manufacturers have settled multi-state lawsuits for illegally conspiring to raise prices on LCD flat panel screens for televisions, monitors, and laptop computers. The settlement makes consumers eligible for 25 to 200 dollar cash payments depending on how many devices were purchased between 1999 and 2006. The deadline to file claims online is this Thursday, December 6th.
