PITTSVILLE, WI (WSAU)-  Authorities are looking for whoever tainted farm chemicals west of Pittsville. Wood county investigators are seeking help from the public. They want to know who entered a farm on Sparks Road in the Town of Cary in early July and mixed herbicide into a prepared batch of pesticide. The tainted mixture destroyed fifty-eight acres of beans, causing a substantial financial loss. Wood County Crime stoppers invites anyone with knowledge of this crime to contact them.
