WAUSAU, Wis (WSAU) A woman charged with embezzling from a Wausau law firm did it at least twice before.
58-year-old Susan Adams was charged last week with seven counts of forgery and one count of embezzlement of up to $5,000 dollars. She made an initial court appearance and is now free on $25,000 signature bond.
The Wausau Daily Herald reports that Adams was convicted in 1994 of embezzling more than $100,000 from M&I bank, and was fired from another job in 2003 after being suspected of stealing, although she was never formally charged.
