STEVENS POINT, Wis (WSAU) There was a fire inside an elevator mechanical room at Sentry Insurance in Stevens Point last night. The fire department believes a motor overheated, but the exact cause is still under investigation.

It happened around 9pm when the elevator car was on the 4th floor. There was only minor damage, and repairs should be completed today.

There were no injuries.
