The Band Perry is working on the follow-up to their platinum, self-titled debut project, and the songs they're writing really reflect what is going on in the siblings' everyday lives. The new project is still taking shape, but lead singer Kimberly Perry really likes where it's headed so far.

"We're writing honestly," she says. "I feel like we're a couple years older than we were the last go around, and that's reflected both in our melody and in our music."

The final single from The Band Perry's debut album, "Postcard from Paris," is now climbing the country chart.
