MERRILL, Wis. (WSAU) – An Irma man who rear ended a tractor in November has been sentenced to a month in jail for his second drunken driving offense.

Sixty-nine-year-old Thomas Gordon will have to report to jail by Friday to begin serving his sentence. He’ll get work release privileges.

A judge on Tuesday also revoked Gordon’s driver’s license for 13 months, ordered him to use an ignition interlock device for one year and made him pay more than $3,700 in restitution.

Gordon crashed into the tractor near county roads V and H in the town of Birch on November 25th. The tractor was cut in half by the impact of the crash. The tractor driver was treated at a local hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
