Taylor Swift was "freaking out" when she came face-to-face with first lady Michelle Obama at Nickelodeon's Kids' Choice Awards in Los Angeles over the weekend.
Obama was on hand to present "The Big Help Award" to Taylor in recognition of her charity work, including her support of tornado and flood survivors in the U.S. Upon joining Obama on stage, Taylor said, "I have always wanted to meet you. This is amazing. I am so honored to be receiving this award from the first lady of the United States. I am freaking out."
Taylor, Lady Antebellum and Toby Keith were all nominated for various music awards but came up short.
