It's that time of year again, when the temperature starts to plummet and you know a long, cold winter is on its way. Normally I try to live in denial that this chilly change is even happening until mid-November, but when the weather becomes unavoidable (like now), I listen to Christmas music as a way to get me in the holiday spirit. Luckily, Justin Bieber sensed my need for early merriment and decided to finally premiere his remix with Mariah Carey of her hit song ""All I Want For Christmas."" This song, of course, will be on his Christmas album, Under The Mistletoe, along with his newly released single ""Mistletoe."" The teen heartthrob previously expressed to Access Hollywood his joy to be working with Mariah, saying, "I was very honored. I really wanted to do the song I couldn't do it better than her. To have her on the song with me is like, yea, it gives me the stamp.""
While the song is definitely still amazing, I didn't really notice much of difference from the original track -- other than the fact that Bieber sings some of the lyrics. The melody, the tone, everything seems pretty much the same, which surprises me since I thought the teen idol would want to change it up and make it his own, unique version. But it's still definitely not lacking in that feel-good Christmas sensation, so if you're struggling to fight those winter blues, give this a listen to help brighten your day:
