LONDON (Reuters) - The NBA will stage a pre-season game in Manchester in 2013 after playing for the past four years at London's O2 Arena.
A joint statement from the NBA and the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA) on Monday said the WNBA would stage a game in the northern England city later this year.
The statement said the U.S. men's and women's national teams would each play an international friendly in Manchester in July next year prior to the London Olympics.
The NBA will play regular season games in London for the first time this month featuring the Toronto Raptors and the New Jersey Nets.
