MARINETTE, WI (WTAQ) - A former Wausaukee high school teacher was sentenced to 10-years in prison for inappropriate sexual contact with freshman girl. 

35-year-old Kurt Kostelecky was also given six years extended supervision in Marinette County Court Monday afternoon. 

As part of a deal with prosecutors, Kostelecky pleaded no contest to one charge of sexual assault and eleven other charges were dismissed. 

Authorities say he and sexual contact with 2008-2009 high school freshman.  That girl is now 17-years-old and no longer goes to Wausaukee High School.
