Indianapolis, Ind (WSAU) The Wisconsin Badgers shot just 29% from the field and lost in the Big Ten Tournament to the Illinois Fighting Illini 58-54. Despite a sub-par shooting day and falling behind by 16 at one point the Badgers battled back and had a chance to tie with 11 seconds left. A Jason Bohannon 3 ball fell short. Bohannon and Trevon Hughes combined to go 5-26 from the field. Hughes did hit 4 threes down the stretch and joined Jon Leuer with 14 points to lead Wisconsin. Mike Tisdale led Illinois with 21. The Illini face Ohio State on Saturday. The Badgers await their assignment in the NCAA Tournament which begins next week.
