MERRILL, Wis. (WSAU) – You can get free Wisconsin Woodchucks tickets and help out the Merrill Food Panty this week at Good Samaritan Hospital.

Ministry Health Care is hosting Merrill Community Night at Athletic Park, and your non-perishable food items are your ticket to the game. Spokesman Tom Weaver says volunteers will be on hand today and tomorrow at lunch collecting food items and cash donations for the food bank. In return, you'll get a free ticket to the Chucks game. “We know in the summer that food banks can get low, and so we thought this would be a good chance to help them out.”

Weaver says any donation will get you a ticket. They have 15-hundred tickets to give away, but they must be picked up at Good Samaritan in Merrill. Game time for the Woodchucks Merrill Community Night at Athletic Park in Wausau is 6:35 p.m. against the Battle Creek Bombers. Gates open at 5:30 p.m. and the first 500 fans will receive a Ministry Health Care Woodchucks Pennant.
