WAUSAU, Wis (WSAU) Sheriffs deputies are investigating a fight from Tuesday morning in the Marathon County jail that left two inmates injured. It happened in a cell around 730am. One was hospitalized, and has since been released.

Investigators say four inmates beat up two others. One of the inmates made a knife out of a broken piece of a plastic storage container that was used in the attack.

The motive is not known. It's not clear if the inmates involved will face disciplinary procedures within the jail, or if they'll face additional criminal charges.
