The DC Everest music department offers a wide variety of opportunities and experiences for the students and the community. The 100 member band under the direction of Ted Aarrestad, includes a marching band, two concert bands, jazz ensemble, pep band, and a variety of chamber ensembles. Cristie Bates works with 100 students in the choir program which includes Concert Choir, The Everest Singers, Songspinners, and Chamber Choir. The orchestra includes a String Orchestra and The Chamber Players which are directed by Ann Johnson.
