Music Department

Abbotsford has long been known for a strong music program with many excellent musicians. This is evidenced by the large number of people who attend our various concerts. Whether it be an Elementary concert or a concert of Middle/Senior High School students, the gymnasium is always full. During those performances many students are found performing in the Band, Jazz Band, Choir, or Show Choir.

School Accomplishments

The highlight of the year for our Music Department is Cabaret in late February. During this time our students perform solos, duets, and groups perform with a live band to a large audience. Many of the audience members make an evening of it by taking part in the Dinner Theater. This is one of the best nights of the year in our district.

Other Details

Overall, we are very proud of our Music Department as a district. This group works very hard and is deserving of all of the praise they receive. As a district we thank you for your support and welcome you to visit us during one of our concerts.
