Matt Garza Passed On Angels Contract Offer Because He Was On Vacation

by Mike Mathers

On behalf of all Brewer fans I would just like to say, "Thank you Matt Garza for taking vacation at the right time!"  Garza recieved an offer from the Angels in December worth 52 million but he passed because he was in Turks and Caicos on an anniversary trip and did not want to be distracted by baseball.  He eventually signed with the Brewers, the largest free agent deal in the club's history.  Great timing for the Brew Crew.  Time for Graza to dominate and lead the team to the playoffs this year!
