Due to a burst blood vessel in her vocal cords, LeAnn Rimes' planned performance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! Tuesday evening (1/22) was cancelled, but that didn't stop her from sitting down for a chat.

Rimes explained to Kimmel that she had a bout with allergies that required her to get an injection in her nose, and she was put on strict vocal rest by her doctor.

"I'm not supposed to be talking," she told Kimmel, "but I'm talking to you." Rimes revealed she was using a dry erase board to communicate at home, and said she was going on two weeks of vocal rest as soon as the interview was over.

Rimes opened up about her ongoing fued with Brandi Glanville, the ex-wife of Rimes' husband Eddie Cibrian, with whom Rimes had an affair that led to the ends of their previous marriages.

On Bravo's Watch What Happens Live Monday night, Glanville called Rimes "insane," and Rimes tweeted back for the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star to "KMA" -- shorthand for Rimes telling Glanville to kiss her backside.

Kimmel asked Rimes why she even bothered to respond. "You have a little something that none of the Real Housewives as far as I know...have: You're talented," Jimmy said.

Rimes explained she often doesn't take the bait, but, admitted, "There comes a time where you're just like, 'Screw You.'...and that's all you want to say...And then you're like, 'I'm done with this for another three months.'"

And it goes on and on and on and on....

I don't understand why LeAnn doesn't just stop commenting.  Her career is taking a major hit with her behavior.  Let Brandi spout off, she's gaining fame by speaking out, let her and live your own life.  I know, I know, easier said than done but there comes a point where you have to just let go.  You know?
