I am totally stoked that Jessica Simpson is coming back to TV with her own sitcom!  Apparentley NBC is developing a untitled scripted comedy based on her life that she'll be starting in.

 "I am so excited to work with NBC again, this time on a scripted comedy," Jessica tells The Hollywood Reporter. "I often find myself thinking that no one could ever make up the things that actually happen in my life -- so between the real-life elements and a great team of writers, I think we'll have people laughing!"

Ben Silverman, the chairman behind the production company attached to the show adds that Simpson is "truly a modern-day Lucy with incredibly comedic chops."

"From running a fashion empire to wrangling her public image as a new mom, we see Jessica's character approach a variety of 'everyday' circumstances that will get audiences laughing out loud," he adds.

I was obsessed with her old MTV reality show "Newlyweds" with her ex Nick Lachey, she made me laugh constantly!  I'm really looking forward to her new sitcom!
