Luke Bryan is being credited with saving the life of a 15 year old horse after it fell 15-feet down a riverbank last Thursday (1/10).
According to Nashville's WSMV, an Appaloosa named Misty wandered too far from its home in Franklin, Tennessee and took a horrible spill when a rain-soaked riverbank gave way. Luckily, Luke, who lives nearby, was boating by and spotted the horse. He stopped and, along with a friend, notified Misty's owners and rescuers.
“It was a blessing. If they hadn’t been going down the river in the boat, I wouldn’t have known that she’d fallen in,” Misty's owner Janet McCormick told WSMV.

After several hours, a team of nearly a dozen people saved Misty from the river. McCormick added, "You can't thank anybody enough for taking an interest and being so helpful and genuine. It's a blessing to have good neighbors."
