Get well wishes go out to Jake Owen's father, Steve, who had surgery at Nashville's Baptist Hospital Monday morning. Jake tweeted his appreciation to the medical staff, saying, "Just wanted to say thanks to Baptist Hospital in Nashville and all docs and nurses who keep loved ones safe." Details on what kind of surgery Jake's father had were not available.

Family is very important to Jake and he is very close with his twin and parent.  Jake expanded his immediate family last year, tying the knot with wife Lacey in May. They welcomed their daughter Pearl on Thanksgiving Day 2012.
