UDATE:  Kira's husband, Jeffery Trevino, 37,  has been arrested on suspicion of murder.  More on that HERE.

The husband of missing St. Paul woman Kira Trevino has been arrested and booked into the Ramsey County Jail on suspicion of murder.

St. Paul investigators say enough evidence was found inside the couple's home on the 500 block of Iowa Avenue to suggest a crime was committed there; however, they would not elaborate on what that evidence is. 

Officers also said a roommate who lived in the home with the Trevinos is cooperating with the investigation.

Kira Trevino still has not been found. Investigators ask anyone who may have information as to her whereabouts is asked to call 651-266-5650.

Kira Stegar Trevino is a 2001 graduate of D.C. Everest in Wausau, Wisconsin now living in St. Paul, Minnesota.  She has been missing since Friday (2/22.)

A family's search for their daughter continues less than 24 hours after police found her empty car in a Mall of America parking lot.

Kira Trevino, 30, has been missing since Friday. Family members say she works at a store in the mall, but lives in St. Paul.

The Bureau of Criminal Apprehension was at the home Trevino shares with her husband and roommate on Monday evening and Kira's family members, from Wisconsin and Texas, were in town also looking for answers. They spent the day meeting with investigators.

Anyone with information that might help police locate Kira is asked to call the St. Paul Police Department at 651-266-5650.
