Vince Gill finally got his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame this past Thursday (9/6).  Good friend Reba and his wife Amy Grant were among those who spoke at the induction.  Vince was visibly emotional as Reba recalled how he helped her after members of her band were killed in a plane crash, but was quick to bring the mood back up.  “I got a little lump in my throat when I saw Reba showed up,” he confessed.  “But then I said, ‘Hell it ain't that big a deal, she lives here!’”

Vince revealed his only request was that his star be near Amy's.  “They graciously have put us right next to each other.  I think there's one star in between us.  Whoever that is, I'll have them hurt,” he cracked.

Vince’s new CD with The Time Jumpers comes out this Tuesday.

Congrats to Vince!  What an amazing talent he is.
