Miranda Lambert debuted a brand new hair style on Wednesday (10/24). She actually hinted at a change Tuesday afternoon (10/23) when she Tweeted, “Gettin a new do today!”

As fans anxiously awaited the results, some asked Lambert’s husband, Blake Shelton, to weigh in on her new hair. “Please give us a hint on what @Miranda_Lambert did to her hair,” one fan Tweeted to Shelton. As always, Blake’s response included a bit of humor. “Hmmm… Oh! Ever seen ‘There’s Something About Mary,’” he asked.

Miranda then Tweeted a photo of her new hairstyle, which featured shorter locks and sexy, sweeping bangs. ”A change would do u good,” she wrote.
