Blake Shelton says doing two seasons of the hit show The Voice in one year is taking too much time away from his music career. His fellow mentors on The Voice -- Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green and Adam Levine -- are in the same boat.
"The reason that you want the four of us is because we're viable artists right now, current," Blake explains. "And we can't do both if we do back-to-back seasons."
Though he is frustrated with the tapings he is still committed to the show, and he says, "I love it, and I can't imagine not being a part of The Voice ever. I mean, I'd love to do it from now on."
Do you think Blake's career will suffer in the long run because of the show?
