Keith Urban appears on the cover of American Airlines' American Way magazine this month, sharing some of his favorite things about Nashville.
Keith has lived in Music City since 1992, so he knows all the hot spots for the best food and live music. When it comes to restaurants, Nashville is known for its meat-and-three joints, where you get a meat and three vegetables for your meal. Keith has been going to those places like Brown's Diner and Rotier's since he moved to town. He says, "To me, if you want something that’s unique to Nashville, those are the places to go.”
Keith has also been going to live music venues like Exit/In and 12th & Porter since he moved to town.
"Those venues are still happening, and then there are slightly newer places, like the Cannery Ballroom -- which used to be a real cannery and is now a club," Keith says. "Or Marathon Music Works, which used to be an automotive place for Marathon Motors that’s been transformed into a venue.”
If they are good enough for Keith I'd say you should definitely visit them when you visit Nashville and check them out! :)
