Miranda Lambert was forced to cancel her shows this past weekend in New York and Pennsylvania due to doctor-ordered vocal rest. According to a statement from her record label, Miranda has overextended her voice. She hopes to return to the road for a run of shows starting with a show in Orange Beach, AL, this Thursday night.

UPDATE 7-11-2012...

Miranda Lambert's doctor is keeping her on voice rest for another week, which means her concerts this weekend are being rescheduled. Miranda says in a written statement, "I’m so sorry to disappoint the fans that have already bought tickets to see me. I’m taking care of my voice and I can’t wait to get on the road again and bring you a hell of a show.”

10/4 -- Orange Beach, AL
10/5 -- Atlanta, GA
10/6 -- Pelham, AL
