Taylor Swift has acted in a few films and TV shows over the years, and even lent her voice to the animated film Dr. Seuss' The Lorax earlier this year.  You'd think another acting gig would be a no-brainer for her but it needs to feel right for Taylor while fitting into her schedule.

Taylor tells Entertainment Tonight, "I hope so, if it was the right thing."

A major film role isn't likely anytime soon for Taylor, since she's gearing up to launch a brand-new album later this year followed by another big concert tour. Taking an acting role is often a matter of timing.

"I've been reading scripts for years, and there's never been anything that fit in the schedule that I also loved," Taylor explains. "So, if those two things could happen, I would love to do a movie."

I like that Taylor puts so much thought into her career and is not doing anything and everything she is offered just because she could.  Great head on her shoulders!
