If there were any doubts as to where Scarlett Johansson’s affections lie, she’s now permanently displaying her passion for all to see.

The Iron Man 2 star has shown some steely toughness of her own, proudly showing off a new tattoo, writes Us. The ink on her wrist is in the form of a charm bracelet, featuring the words, “I [Heart] NY.”  The new addition joins other tattoos on the 27-year-old's body; including interlinked circles with the letter “A” above her right ankle and a sunrise on her left arm.

The sunrise tattoo has been in place since 2007. Johansson is on record as saying, “It makes me happy when I look at it, but the reason I had it done is very personal. Some things have to remain private.”

The star, who hails from New York City, will reprise her role of Black Widow in the upcoming Marvel Comics adaptation of The Avengers.

I like her ankle and arm ink but I'm not sure about the wrist one yet.  I think she pulls it over very well though.  What do you think?
