TMZ reports the FBI has joined in the investigation of Two and a Half Men star Jon Cryer’s claim that his ex-wife has hired a hitman to kill him. The report cites sources as saying the FBI has been involved in the case for a week. 

Earlier this week, TMZ reported security was summoned to the show’s set last Friday after the actor received a threat. TMZ quoted an insider as saying the threat was “significant” and involved Cryer’s ex-wife, Sarah Trigger (above). The show was taped without an audience that night as a precaution and this Friday’s scheduled taping will also be done without a live studio audience. Cryer and Trigger divorced in 2004 after five years of marriage and are reportedly embroiled in a bitter custody battle over their nine-year-old son. Cryer is currently married to actress Lisa Joyner (below).

Ummm.  Wow.  What else can one say when Hollywood TV drama seeps out into a celebrities real life.  On a side note...I don't watch Two and a Half Men, do you?  It's way too vulgar to have on with my kids still up.  ~Vanessa
