Jason Aldean toasted his latest platinum album, Wide Open, with a party in Nashville Tuesday. The project has sold so well on the strength of his back-to-back number-one hits "She's Country" and "Big Green Tractor." Jason says, quote, "I've waited since I was 14 years old to have a year like we had this last year...This album definitely put us into a new category, which is great." Video messages from the likes of Toby Keith, Kix Brooks, Rascal Flatts, Carrie Underwood and Dierks Bentley played in the background at the part.

On a serious note, Jason has been watching footage of the devastation in Haiti, and he encourages all of his fans to help out in the relief effort in any way possible. Jason says, quote, "This is one of those things that I think everybody should kind of pitch in and help get them back on their feet over there."
