Garth Brooks Speaks Out on Lawsuit Against Hometown Hospital

As reported last month, Garth Brooks is suing the Integris Canadian Valley Regional Hospital in his hometown of Yukon, Oklahoma. The suit stems from 500 thousand dollars Garth donated to the hospital four years ago based on the promise they would build a new facility in honor of his late mother. Garth is now claiming breach of contract on that deal since the hospital hasn't yet broken ground on the facility.

Garth insists this suit isn't just about the money. In an interview with Access Hollywood, Garth admits it's causing him real heartache to be suing people with whom he grew up in his hometown. He says, quote, "Hopefully it will be over soon because this is probably the most uncomfortable I've ever felt."

Hmmmm...I think Garth is in the right here but it still feels wrong for some reason to sue a hospital you donated anoymously too.  Why be anonymous if you want everyone to know who you are? ~Vanessa
