Sara Evans' first novel, The Sweet By and By, is now in store.  The story centers on a girl named Jade Fitzgerald, who's getting ready to marry a high-powered Southern lawyer. Jade is estranged from her mother, and Sara says, quote, "[The book] sets up all these struggles that she has had in her life." The Sweet By and By is the first in a four-part series, the second of which Sara has already written. She says, quote, "The second book is even better because that's kinda when everything explodes into full-force drama." Sara's also keeping busy on the music front. She's currently finding songs for her first studio album in nearly five years.
