Do You Censor What Music Your Kids Listen To?

36.1%   Sometimes I do…

22.9%   I don’t have kids but I would if I did.

18.8%   Of Course I do!

16.7%    Nope, Never.

9.7%     I don’t have kids but I wouldn’t if I did.

For the record, I censor everything my children watch and listen to, but they are only nine and six years old and shouldn’t have free reign over the TV, DVD player, radio and CD player.  They do sometimes get annoyed with me when they come home from school and ask me to get the a new song or CD because their friends have it and I say no.  I just don’t think it is appropriate to have my kids singing along to Zac Brown Band’s “Toes” or Ke$ha’s “Tik Tok” as examples.  They may not appreciate it now but hopefully one day when they have their own children they’ll understand.
