From Got Country...Jimmy Wayne did his first live webcast via Ustream yesterday morning as he continues his walk from Nashville, TN to Phoenix, AZ to raise awareness regarding teens who become homeless after "aging" out of the foster care system. Jimmy was one of those teens at a time during his youth. After a few attempts to stay "on" - Jimmy spent about 10 minutes chatting and showing those watching what things were like for him on the road.

During the webcast, Jimmy was "punked" by KNIX radio in Phoenix, AZ - they called him but told him it was Randy Travis on the phone- but there was no Randy! Poor Jimmy - you could tell he was excited to talk to Randy but quite the jokester himself, he took it well!

The conditions were and have continued to be cold, windy and at times snowy since Jimmy began his walk on New Years Day for his "Meet Me Halfway" campaign.
