Have you heard about the PETA ad campaign that features photos of Carrie Underwood, First Lady Michelle Obama, Oprah Winfrey and Tyra Banks? It seems permission was not given to use the photos by at least two of the ladies. Carrie's rep states that the animal rights organization did not have approval to use Underwood's photo for the "Fur-Free and Fabulous!" ad, and People.com reports that the First Lady's picture was used without the White House's knowledge. PETA claims, "The fact is that Michelle Obama has issued a statement indicating that she doesn't wear fur, and the world should know that in PETA's eyes, that makes her pretty fabulous." The ad featuring the photo is also plastered on the PETA fur-free van which has been cruising the streets of Washington, D.C. lately.
